IL+ is a Chrome extension that helps authorized Franklin Shops staff scan items into InventoryLab batches with a barcode scanner. It runs only on list-inventorylab.threecolts.com and is published privately to the Franklin Shops Google Workspace domain.
What IL+ does with data
- No data collection by us. IL+ does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or business data. It has no server, no analytics, no advertising and no remote code. Nothing it handles is sent to Franklin Shops or to any third party by the extension.
- Page content on InventoryLab. IL+ reads and fills fields on the InventoryLab listing page (for example UPC, ASIN, MSKU, rank, list price, cost, dates, quantity and the batch’s Total Units) only to automate the scanning steps the user is already doing. This data stays in the browser and in the user’s own InventoryLab account.
- Local storage only. Settings (such as cost, list price rules, supplier, delays, batch target and on/off switches), the control box position, a log of scanned UPCs for the current batch and a log of failed scans are saved with Chrome’s chrome.storage.local on that computer. They are never uploaded by IL+. The user can clear the UPC log and fail log from the extension, and removing the extension deletes this storage.
- Microphone and voice quantity (optional). When Voice quantity is on, IL+ asks Chrome for microphone access, only on list-inventorylab.threecolts.com, and listens only while the quantity box is open, so the user can say a number such as “5”. Speech is recognized by Chrome’s built-in Web Speech API. Chrome may send the audio to Google’s speech recognition service to turn it into text, under Google’s Privacy Policy. IL+ receives only the recognized text, uses it to fill the quantity, and does not record, store or send audio. Voice quantity can be turned off in the IL+ settings, and microphone access can be removed in Chrome’s site settings.
- Sounds and screen flashes are generated locally in the browser and involve no data.
Internal use only
IL+ is an internal business tool for authorized Franklin Shops personnel. It is not offered for sale or intended for the general public, and it is not directed to children.
